The Still Point
Dynamic Flow · Deep Release
How do we remain steady within, even as everything around us changes?
Inspired by Yoga Sutras 2.46–2.48, this two-hour embodied journey explores the relationship between strength and softness, effort and ease, movement and stillness.
We begin with a dynamic, strengthening practice, building energy, heat and focused effort. Gradually, the rhythm slows. Movement gives way to longer-held postures, softness, breath and deep rest—inviting unnecessary effort to release and the nervous system to settle.
Through this experience of contrast, we explore something deeper: the possibility of meeting change without being pulled away from our centre. Not by resisting what is happening, but by discovering an inner steadiness spacious enough to hold it.
The session will weave together movement, breath, moments of reflection and sound, ending in an extended savasana and integration.
A journey from effort to ease—and towards the still point within.
